MS. SHERRY PANT

Brief Profile

Ms. Sherry Pant is an Assistant Professor of Law at SVKM’s NMIMS, Ahmedabad campus, bringing a distinguished academic record and diverse practical experience to the classroom. A Gold medalist in her B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from Kurukshetra University, she also secured University Rank 1 in her LL.M., specializing in the Constitution and Legal Order. She has qualified for the UGC-NET four times and has recently submitted her Ph.D. in Law at Kurukshetra University.

Bridging the gap between legal theory and practice, so far, Ms. Pant’s career encompasses three and a half years in academia alongside three years of professional practice, notably serving as a Law Associate at the Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority, coupled with litigation experience at the District Courts. Her legal acumen has been consistently recognized by premier institutions; she was selected for a highly competitive Law Researcher position at the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). She gained practical exposure through internships with the National Commission for Women (NCW) and Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA). She was also selected for highly sought-after internships at the Law Commission of India and the National Commission for Minorities. Her extensive background equips her to deliver a comprehensive, real-world perspective on the law.

• Won the Best Paper Presentation Award at the Summit on Sustainability, Digital transformation and E-governance organised by Mirae Asset Foundation (South Korea) - SVKM'S NMIMS ESG Research Chair in 2025.
